If you’re in Glasgow between the 1st July and 31st August, take a look at this brilliant knitting project called SOCK Glasgow at Glasgow Green! It commemorates each member of the Glasgow Pal’s Battalions, who volunteered together in WWI to fight in the Battle of the Somme, with a knitted square, and at the end of the exhibition the blankets will be cleaned and donated to various charities and old people’s homes 🙂
